Position Summary

The Regional Manager, Budgeting and Reporting is responsible for planning and implementing the budgeting process for all Health Service Delivery Areas (HSDAs) and regionally (corporate-wide programs) within Northern Health (NH) and assisting in the strategic direction of resource allocation within programs. The position provides financial leadership and support to management in NH and ensures that the objectives of the financial and budgetary process for NH are adhered to.

Starting salary will be approximately from $106,026 to $132,533 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or equivalent degree plus seven (7) to ten (10) years experience in progressively senior accounting roles or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills with a collaborative team approach to decision making.
• Ability to manage projects including coordinating and gathering information from multiple sources for compilation and review.
• Strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
• High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with complex computer based budgeting and financial systems.
• Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Effective communication skills.
