Position Summary

The Regional Manager, Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Strategic Initiatives is responsible for ensuring effective and timely functioning of CME initiatives for all of Northern Health Medical Staff. In addition, this role is responsible for the implementation of strategic initiatives for the Medical portfolio (e.g. SaferCare and Clinical Order Sets). This role provides direction to the CME and the Clinical Order Set teams which includes day-to-day support and performance management.
This role co-leads the CME team with the representative of Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCCbc) in order to execute the mandate for continuing medical education with all the facilities in the Northern Health region.
Starting salary will be approximately from $106,026 to $132,533 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or a related field of study including allied health care professions, plus five (5) to seven (7) years progressive related work experience, with at least three (3) years in a managerial capacity, or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
