Job Summary
The Team
The Navigation Operations team at HealthLink BC (HLBC) is dedicated to providing accessible, 24/7 telehealth services to British Columbians. This established team, composed of nearly 190 professionals, works together to triage health concerns, support B.C. citizens in accessing the care they need, and alleviate the strain on other health care service providers. With HLBC’s mission “to enhance integrated care across the health system, HealthLink BC will deliver trusted and accessible health information and services for B.C. citizens when, where, and how they want them”, the team is united in its commitment to providing health information and services across the province.
The Role
In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact by helping bridge the gap before, between, and after in-person community services for British Columbians, to best support the patient in the optimization of their health; and health care providers in their aim to achieve the highest clinical outcome for their patients. Leading a team of over 50 dedicated staff, including Health Services Navigators, Shift Leads, Operations Leads, and Clinical Programs Support, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, set performance standards, and drive program development to ensure consistent, quality service delivery. Working within HealthLink BC, you’ll be part of a collaborative management team, contributing to new strategic operational plans and fostering a positive, respectful workplace amid ongoing changes. This role combines autonomy, purpose, and a professional hybrid setting at our Langley and Burnaby locations, making a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
