In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor (or designate), the Maintenance Worker III performs maintenance and repair duties related to buildings, grounds and equipment in one or a variety of areas such as electrical, plumbing and painting in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday, Days, 07:00 to 15:00
Stuart Lake Hospital is a 12-bed facility (6 Acute Care and 6 Long-term). Services provided at the hospital are:
• Emergency Care
• Acute Care
• Complex Care
• Laboratory
• X-ray
• Primary Care
Fort St. James is Located on the southeast shore of Stuart Lake is the district of Fort St. James. The town has been restored as a national historic site, and has a total population of approximately 4,500. The main industries in Fort St. James are forestry, mining and tourism. The town is also a scenic gateway to a 300 km network of lakes and rivers. Fort St. James is well serviced, has affordable housing and is close to big city amenities. Qualfications
• Grade 10, plus two year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
Skills and Abilities:

• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
