WST was founded right here in Kelowna in 2000 and is known globally as the leader in high quality beacon testing equipment. We design and manufacture all our products right here at our Kelowna facility.

We are looking for an RF Electronic Technologist to join our team.

Job duties will include:
Work on various engineering projects
Design, build, and test prototypes
Troubleshoot and repair existing product and products in development
Write embedded firmware
Write applications for the purpose of testing and acquiring data
Schematic capture and PCB layout
Engineering documentation and specification determination
Miscellaneous tasks as required

Job Qualifications:
Graduated from an Electronics Engineering Technology Program
Experience designing digital, analog and RF circuitry
Experience operating lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes
Experience in programming (C, C#, Embedded C, VB.NET, Assembly,)

Experience in programming microcontrollers
Knowledge of electronic testing and assembly
PCB layout using KICAD
Soldering to IPC-A-610 standard and fine pitched components
Exceptional troubleshooting skills
Self motivated with the ability to work with a team and individually
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude
