Job Summary

The Team
TheBusiness Consulting Teamis a small, dynamic group within the Business Services Transformation (BST) branch that plays a crucial role in supporting the health sector by fostering strong relationships and enabling collaboration. As part of theHealth Sector Information, Analysis, and Reporting Division, the branch helps advance the use of high-quality health data, analytics, and reporting to support planning, policy development, and performance monitoring. With a focus on service excellence and innovation, you’ll work alongside a broad range of internal and external partners to elevate the impact of health analytics across BC and enhance data literacy.

The Role
As aSenior Project Management Analystthe BST branch, you’ll lead the implementation of outreach initiatives that support the effective use of analytics and promote data literacy across the health sector. Working closely with diverse teams and stakeholders, you’ll help increase awareness and understanding of HSIAR’s products and services. This role offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships and drive positive change across the sector, contributing to the optimization of health sector analytics for better decision-making.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, public administration, or a related field and 2 years of related experience; OR
  • Diploma in project management, business administration, public administration, or a related field and 3 years related experience; OR
  • Certificate or coursework in project management or a related field and 4 years related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience includes the following:

  • Experience independently managing projects.
  • Experience in directing the work of contracted and staff resources.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until November 25, 2025. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
