Senior Business Analyst

6-month Business Analyst contract working closely with the business as they expand their strategic focus on technology.

What & Why:
Due to investment in technology our client is looking to add a Senior Business Analyst to their team. This team responsible for strategy and planning, portfolio management, labour governance, engagement and communications, and business operations for two large scale teams within the organization. This role will play a critical part in analyzing business needs, performing research, developing strategic plans, and driving initiatives that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate is organized, values research, great at facilitation, problem solving and brining the right skill sets together to support the development of technology strategy within the teams and implement strategic & operational initiatives. Ideally you would have 2 years of strategy / strategic project management experience from a management consulting firm and/or internal strategy team. The role is geared towards strategy support and execution of strategic initiatives/projects within technology. Technical experience is not required, but working experience within technology teams / organization is preferred. This is a great opportunity to join a highly strategic team.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have full remote on-boarding capability during Covid19 with a hybrid work model following that, however this role can be fully remote if you would prefer.
You:You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, technology strategy, or related roles.
• 2 years experience working in technology consulting
• Strong understanding of business processes and technology trends.
• Experience driving end-to-end project management, from planning to delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field

Compensation: this role pays between $70-90 per hour.
