Senior Specialist Engineer

Brainhunter is currently seeking “Project Engineer” to work for our valued Client. This is a one year contract with a possibility of extension for another 2 years.

Overview: Project Engineer is licensed engineer responsible for limited-scope projects. While supervised in detail, the role offers an opportunity to contribute to team projects and provide guidance to junior staff like technicians and contractors.Undertakes routine tasks to ensure adherence to established procedures and standards responsible for direct supervision of engineering staff or specialization in a specific area. Works with limited oversight, making sound technical recommendations that are typically accepted. Acts as a specialist with expertise in advanced technical studies or research. Provides leadership and guidance to junior engineers while working on projects that involve significant technical challenges and long-term objectives

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with technical standards.
• Assist junior team members on technical projects.
• Manage assignments with complexity.
• Ensure project work aligns with technical requirements.
• Independently manage engineering projects of moderate complexity.
• Collaborate on challenging technical tasks, referring difficult issues to senior authorities.
• Lead teams or projects in specialized technical areas.
• Make and review technical recommendations and judgments.
• Conduct research and advanced studies in specialized areas.
• Provide expert technical recommendations and advice.
• Review and oversee the work of less experienced professionals.
• Lead advisory or consulting projects in specialized areas.
• Provide expert witness testimony in regulatory or legal matters.
• Conduct research or technical studies in advanced engineering disciplines.
