Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed permanent part time Program Aide to support the Specialized Services department.

In accordance with vision and values of the organization, this position supports Specialized Services clinics by performing duties such as maintaining inventories of medical/surgical supplies, biologicals and equipment, cleaning and sterilizing equipment and instruments, and performing related administrative support duties. Performs a variety of reception and administrative support functions such as word processing, composing, and signing correspondence, typing program reports and documents from notes and/or recording devices, and answering general inquiries relate to programs and policies.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, 08:30 to 17:00 (Rotating)

Terrace The thriving community of Terrace is northern living at its best. Snow-capped mountains, pristine glacier-fed rivers, lakes, and streams all add to the beauty of this community. The main industries in Terrace are communications, transportation, and natural resources. The population is approximately 12,700. There are nine elementary schools, four secondary schools, and Northwest Community College and a UNBC campus. Check out Terrace where there is always something new to experience.

Qualfications
• Grade 12
• Medical Office Assistant Certificate
• Recent, related experience of one year or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience or other qualifications deemed to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
