Job Summary

The Team
At Device and Enterprise Services, the Contracts team is at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth management and execution of the agreements. This team, led by a Director, includes a Supervisor, a Contract Analyst, and a Governance Secretariat, along with new roles in Performance Management and Reporting. The Contracts team works closely with various committees, the Service Management team, other branches, and executives to impact the payment structure and overall success of our contracts. We value this team for its crucial role in overseeing performance and driving results, contributing to both our immediate goals and long-term achievements.

The Role
I
n this role, responsibilities include writing and modifying code for applications, testing projects, and participating in business analysis and system design. The position also involves drafting and maintaining key documentation, handling escalated application issues, and managing systems dictionaries. The work has a significant impact, as errors could affect substantial financial outcomes for the Service Provider or the Province. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how Outcome-based Contracts are managed within a new and dynamic team, making it ideal for those who enjoy solving complex problems and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field and 2 years of related experience; OR
  • Diploma in a computer science related field and 3 years related experience; OR
  • Certificate or coursework in a computer science related field and 4 years related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience includes the following:

  • Experience with relational database systems, Structured Query Language, relational data modeling and data management principles, structured analysis and design, and documentation of business requirements.
  • Experience in database administration.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Database Administration.
  • Experience in modelling, process modelling, and/or business area analysis techniques.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:

  • Experience working with PowerBI.
  • ServiceNow data model experience.

About this Position:
The position’s headquarters will be Victoria.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
