In accordance with the mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Regional Manager, Information Governance (IG) leads a team responsible for enabling high quality, robust, effective, accurate and accessible data and information to support patient care through strong and collaborative leadership of the Information Governance framework in Northern Health. The Regional Manager provides leadership, guidance, and support to decision-makers regarding the organization’s information and data assets, in order to enhance our Information Governance maturity. The Regional Manager collaborates with organizational leaders, data owners, stewards, custodians, subject matter experts, vendors and a wide range of data and information stakeholders to develop Information Management processes that are critical for optimal use of the organization’s data and information assets. Through consultation with key stakeholders, the Regional Manager manages the development of effective governance structures for clinical and administrative data, throughout the lifecycle.

Starting salary will be approximately from $106,026 to $132,533 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as Health Information Management, Information Science, Health Administration, Business, Statistics or Social Sciences.
• Five (5) years’ progressive experience working in a collaborative developmental capacity in a health services environment.
• Demonstrated experiences in effectively influencing leaders and implementing organizational change.
• Certification in Health Information Management (HIM) and/or Information Governance Professional (IGP) is considered a strong asset.

Skills and Abilities:
• In depth knowledge of Information Governance, Records and Information Management, HIM Lifecycle and Enterprise Information Management bodies of knowledge.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
