SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) provides a comprehensive suite of solutions for managing business processes, data, and applications. Developer role

  • Dive into BTP ABAP connectivity topics, like Internet Communication Framework (ICF), Background Remote Function Call (bgRFC), and queued Remote Function Call (qRFC), to help ensure smooth integration and seamless data exchange across systems.
  • Tackle and resolve connectivity challenges involving ICF for web-based communication, bgRFC for business process integration and qRFC for handling asynchronous communication, helping to build and maintain reliable system interactions.
  • Design and implement new features, apply best practices for Connectivity & Integration to improve our solutions.
  • Enhance and maintain modules with updates that benefit over 10,000 customers.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and manage support tickets to address their needs.
  • Join a collaborative development scrum team, working closely with peers to achieve shared goals and drive success.
  • Opportunity to expand your skill set beyond the core responsibilities and take on diverse tasks in support of the team’s overall objectives.

Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field -relevant internships or projects are an asset.
  • Newly graduated or professionals with up to 3 years’ experience.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles, with a knack for solving complex problems.
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving issues in both existing and new code.
  • Enthusiastic about collaborating in a team environment and comfortable working independently.
  • Driven by results and passionate about delivering great customer experiences.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; French skills are an asset.

Currently the office is open, and we work in hybrid mode (Flex-Work).

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 60,000 – 100,000 CAD CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
