Teck is looking for casual administrative support to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world’s largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes.

This role is based in the welcoming community of Trail, situated in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. Here you will find outdoor adventure at your fingertips! Whether it’s biking and skiing, or the laid-back atmosphere of fishing and hiking, there is something for everyone.

Responsibilities:

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Providing casual clerical or administrative support in our office support areas
• Candidates must also be comfortable communicating with and taking direction from members of Senior Management and have experience working with confidential information

Qualifications:

• Certification in Applied Business Technology and/or a Diploma in Business Administration is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with an emphasis on Excel is required
• Able to work independently and in a team environment is required

Salary Range: $34.00 – $44.00 /Hour
