Job Summary

The Team
At Surrey North Administrative Team, you will join an established and dynamic group that includes four (4) Team Assistants and one (1) Office Assistant under the guidance of the Office Manager. This team plays a crucial role in supporting front-line Social Workers, Cliniciansand other professionals dedicated to serving vulnerable children, youth, families, and the community. The Office Manager is integral to the smooth operation of various service lines, making a significant impact in our mission to deliver essential services.

The Role
As the Office Manager, you will be at the heart of a forward-facing office dedicated to delivering a wide range of supports and services to children, youth, and families in North Surrey. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in your community by assisting those who need it most. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience as an Office Manager.
• Experience leading others.
• Experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.

Preference may be given to candidates with one (1) or more of the following:

• Supervisory experience in the Social Services sector.
• One (1) or more years’ experience as an Office Manager.
• Experience using and training staff on the use of the following:
o MIS (Management Information System)
o CARIS (Community and Residential Information System
o ICM (Integrated Case Management system).
o Records Management Systems (i.e. CRMS – Corporate Records Management System).
o TALM (Time and Leave Management).
o Security Access/MAC (Move, Add, Change) Requests.
o CAS (Corporate Accounting System) Oracle System.

About this Position:
Currently there is one (1) permanent opportunity available in Surrey.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work two (2) or more days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill both current and/or future permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) will be required.
