Job Summary

The Team
The Administrative Office is a welcoming and established team that’s essential to the success of the MCFD HR branch. Led by a supportive Office Manager, thisdynamic team includes three HR Coordinators and a Project Clerk who work together to provide vital administrative support across various HR functions. Joining us means you’ll gain valuable experience and skills in a collaborative environment, where you’ll be involved in exciting HR projects and have the chance to grow both professionally and personally.

The Role
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our HR branch, energizing key projects and offering crucial administrative support that helps our team excel. Your contributions will directly impact MCFD staff, enabling them to provide outstanding services to the public. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary School graduation, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experiencing using Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in a professional office environment.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Experience providing administrative support for human resources.
  • Experience interpreting and applying policy.

About this Position:

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This is a temporary opportunity until January 16, 2026. This position may be extended or become permanent.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
