The mission of the Global Logistics Department is to deliver Everyday Luxury through the global transportation of goods.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Global Logistics team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for the shipping and delivery logistics between our Distribution Centers, stores, customers, and/or vendors. As the Sr. Specialist/Specialist, Outbound Logistics, you will support the efficient flow of goods and related information from origin to destination. THE ROLE
As the Sr. Specialist/Specialist, Outbound Logistics you will:
- Facilitate the pick-up of shipments from our distribution centre and stores
- Provide end-to-end visibility and insight into our shipments in transit
- Manage carrier partnerships in an entrepreneurial manner to maximize service level
- Mitigate the risks and impacts associated with our daily operations (inclusive of loss and extraordinary events), minimizing potential disruption to the business
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Sr. Specialist/Special, Outbound Logistics has:
- Strong data analytics skills, including experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) and manual reporting tools
- Understanding of how Warehouse Management systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems interact with carriers’ transportation systems
- Experience managing multiple modes of transportation (experience with multiple modes of transportation, OCEAN, INTERMODAL/RAIL, TRUCK, PARCEL, and COURIER)
