Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Mackenzie General Hospital.

To carry out functions to meet the objectives of the department of nursing of the Mackenzie and District Hospital in a manner that complies with the philosophy of the nursing department and meets the goals and objectives of the Mackenzie and District Hospital. Directly responsible to the Health Service Administrator.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (Rotating)

New Wage: As of April 1, 2024 the new wage is: $41.42 – $55.91/hour

Mackenzie & District Hospital and Health Centre
Mackenzie & District Hospital and Health Centre is a five acute bed hospital with four long-term care beds. Services include medical and emergency services. Other services include medical imaging, laboratory, mental health and substance use. There is also a medical clinic.

Mackenzie is a friendly community of approximately 3,714 (2020) residents. Nestled between the Rocky and Omineca Mountains, Mackenzie provides access to plenty of year round outdoor recreation opportunities to experience. Check out Mackenzie for information on this family friendly community.

Qualfications
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.

• Ability to use equipment related to patient care safely and effectively.
