The Role

We are seeking a talented and organized Community Coordinator to support our Kelowna office space and the Okanagan tech community. As the first point of contact, you will facilitate connections and provide resources. Responsibilities include day-to-day office administration, vendor relationship management, member, tenant, and renter support, and community-building activities.

Responsibilities

    • Greet visitors, handle inquiries, and maintain a welcoming and organized office environment. • Support the Okanagan tech community with facilities, meeting coordination, and general inquiries. • Oversee day-to-day operations of the AO office space and OKGNworks co-working space, including tenant onboarding and offboarding, tenant communications, mail delivery, and more. • Oversee contract management for tenants and clients. • Screen, distribute, and respond to calls, voicemails, emails, and inquiries. • Coordinate office technologies and subscriptions (both software and hardware) to ensure efficient operations. • Host tours and provide event support. • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, holding them accountable for quality service and support. • Act as a resource, providing referrals and connections within the broader community. • Provide administrative support to the CEO and leadership team, including arranging catering, scheduling meetings, and managing vendor bookings.

Skills and Qualifications

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong organizational and customer service skills. • Familiarity with Slack, G-suite and CRM’s is an asset. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in decision-making. • Ability to balance multiple tasks and willingness to learn new skills.

Desired Start Date: January 2, 2024

Salary: $43,060/year
