What you can expect to do here:
- Support the delivery of projects across Canada and potentially North America and Globally.
- Create comprehensive plans and supporting documents for various infrastructure and utility projects.
- Apply optimization, prioritization, and other decision-support tools to enhance asset management strategies.
- Work closely with the senior technical team to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Assist in writing compelling bids and proposals to secure new projects.
- Work on projects involving highway and rail transportation networks, municipalities, pipelines, real estate portfolios, and power utilities.
- Provide services to a wide range of clients, ensuring their asset management needs are met effectively.
- Travel is expected as part of this role, both within Canada and potentially globally.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
- Degree and/or post-graduate degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the asset management field with proven success in managing infrastructure projects and applying asset management principles.
- Effective communication skills, adept at engaging diverse audiences and articulating ideas persuasively.
- Proficient in creating and interpreting asset management documentation, including ISO 55001.
- Strategic asset management experience, providing counsel to both government and private entities.
- In-depth knowledge of decision-making tools and their practical application in optimization and risk assessment.
- Advanced data analysis skills, with a talent for presenting complex data clearly to aid client understanding.
- Collaborative spirit, able to work seamlessly with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Recognized asset management certifications from institutions like WPiAM, IAM, or PEMAC.
Salary range (in British Columbia): $93,700 – $128,900
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
