KPMG is seeking a Strategic Operations Specialist to deliver high-level support to the Office of the CEO. This pivotal role is designed to drive the firm’s Big Bets. Key initiatives will encompass competitive intelligence research, comprehensive market scans, and the creation of impactful communications and proposals that will guide decision-making for the broader strategy and operations team.
This position is essential for aligning strategic objectives with operational execution, ensuring that KPMG remains at the forefront of industry developments and client needs. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical skills and strategic insight, enabling them to contribute significantly to the firm’s growth and success.
This position will require regular in-person attendance in our Toronto office.
What you will do
- Enhance Decision-Making: Collaborate closely with the Office of the CEO and executive leaders to elevate strategic decision-making processes.
- Strengthen Client Relationships: Organize impactful client seminars, events, and educational initiatives to deepen relationships and uncover new business development opportunities.
- Drive Strategic Initiatives: Propel initiatives that align with business objectives through comprehensive market research, focusing on competitive intelligence and emerging market trends.
- Foster Continuous Improvement: Partner with client service teams and Partners to extract valuable insights, identifying areas for enhancement and nurturing a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Analyze Client Satisfaction: Monitor and analyze client satisfaction metrics to reveal trends and opportunities, ensuring alignment with client expectations and firm objectives.
- Craft Strategic Communications: Develop compelling communications that inform and guide decision-making
- Generate Actionable Insights: Leverage internal and external data to produce insights, translating findings into actionable reports that support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate Marketing Efforts: Collaborate with internal communication and marketing teams to enhance internal communications, external marketing, and thought leadership initiatives.
What you bring to the role
- 5 years of experience in a consulting/ client services role
- Excellent understanding of professional services business framework
- Experience in project or program management
- Strong corporate communication writing, proposal writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct market research and synthesize insights for relevant implications.
- Proficiency in MS Office Products, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for an executive audience.
- Good judgment and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently and manage projects with some guidance.
- Proactive in anticipating team needs and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
