- •Carrying out design assignments independently, with oversight and supervision. •Communicating with Design & Production team members and project leaders across our multiple offices. •Supporting the Transportation Design team with design, drawing production, cost estimating and quantity take-offs, and construction specifications. •Ensuring quality control of both design and drafting production work. •Advising teams on technical problems and troubleshooting. •Promoting and contributing to a sense of teamwork amongst coworkers with Design & Production team members and project leaders in multiple offices. •Coaching and mentoring others on projects related to design.
About You
This is a great opportunity for Civil Engineering Technologists with 5-10 years of experience and a diploma from an accredited Civil Engineering Technology program. Given the variety of project needs and a desire to find the right person to join our team, we will consider candidates with a range of experience and encourage those with more experience to apply.

- •You are proficient with AutoCAD and Civil3D. •You are a self-starter that can work independently but you really thrive when working as part of a collaborative team. •You take pride in producing high-quality work and possess a strong attention to detail. •You are interested in mentoring and coaching others to produce high quality relationships and results. •You have strong written and oral communication skills for communicating with team members and clients. •You are registered or eligible for certification with ASTTBC or an equivalent provincial association (required). •You are committed to ongoing personal and professional development. •Previous experience working with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is an asset.
