About the Job:

Mindwire Systems is seeking the services of a Senior BI Administrator for a contract position with one of our Valued Clients.

Client Location: Regina, SK

Working Environment: Remote

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Serves as a first line of support for technical issues relating to reports or Cognos itself.
• Monitors and maintains application security.
• Enhances, and performance tunes reports, application servers.
• Provides support to reporting communities / power users.
• Works with business partners to plan new or enhance existing BI infrastructure.
• Plan Upgrades and enhancements BI environments with the assistance of product architect.
• Knowledge on third party administration product called BSP meta manager is nice to have.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have 10 years of BI experience.
• Experience in AWS QuickSight, Data Pipeline, DMS, and SPICE.
• Must have SQL experience in building and analyzing queries in Oracle databases.
• Must be an expert in administering Cognos Reporting, cubes & Cognos Framework Manager.
• Experience working with vendor customer support on issue resolution.
• Good understanding of ODS/EDW and Content Deployments in BI tools.
• Must possess a proven track record on business intelligence project delivery and demonstrate exceptional business acumen, strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
