Job Summary

The Team
The Divisional Services and Results Management Office (DSRMO) is a dynamic, established team of about 13 professionals who support Hospital and Surgical Health Services as well as Provincial Health Services Divisions. Within three units-Strategic Communications and Engagement, Results Management Office, and Strategic Human Resources-the DSRMO team oversees performance management, strategic planning, and accountability frameworks to ensure alignment with ministry and provincial health priorities. With a positive, collaborative culture, the DSRMO fosters inclusive communications, transparent updates, and cross-divisional coordination to drive impactful change in provincial health services.

The Role
As a Senior Planning and Engagement Analyst, you’ll shape the integrated business planning culture within the Hospital and Surgical Health Services and Provincial Health Services Divisions. In this role, you’ll guide planning sessions, build reporting frameworks to track progress, and work closely with staff and stakeholders to foster alignment with strategic goals. This is a meaningful opportunity to lead projects that promote best practices, encourage innovation, and build relationships across diverse levels of the organization, all while contributing to healthcare improvements for communities across the province.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in communications, public relations, English or equivalent; AND a minimum of two (2) years of recent related experience; OR
  • Certificate or higher in a related field (strategic planning, business analysis, project management) PLUS a minimum of three (3) years of recent related experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience supervising staff teams or leading project teams.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and related experience may be considered.
  • Recent related experience must be within the last five (5) years and include combined experience in all of the following areas:
    • Facilitating strategic planning activities with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Developing tracking, reporting and evaluation frameworks for strategic priorities.
    • Directing the work of contracted and/or staff resources.
    • Developing and implementing plans (engagement, change management, communications plans, etc.) in support of strategic priorities.
    • Writing and editing a variety of communications materials.
    • Working and liaising with staff at all levels of the organization including executive

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Three (3) or more years of recent related experience in the public sector or a health-related organization:
    • Conducting business planning OR
    • Directly responsible for developing and coordinating internal/external communications and engagement activities

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
