Position Summary

Supporting the vision, values, purpose, and commitments of Northern Health, including service delivery that is centered around patients and families: leads the operational implementation of strategic initiatives across Northern Health to improve the experience of providing care, particularly focusing on the resiliency, wellness, and psychological health and safety (PHS) of our workforce through implementation of the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace (the Standard). Provides consulting services to support the goals and objectives of senior leadership with interventions such as change initiatives, strategy planning facilitation, process re-design, team building, education and training, consulting and coaching, culture and respectful workplace development issues. This work is framed within Northern Health commitments to Indigenous cultural safety, anti-racism, and equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Starting salary will be approximately from $106,026 to $132,533 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• Master’s Degree in the Social Sciences, Organization Development, Leadership, Adult Learning, Behavioural Science, or other equivalent education and training in a related discipline.
• Seven (7) to nine (9) years’ recent related experience in an intermediate to large organization.
• Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in healthcare settings.
Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrated excellence in knowledge and delivery of transformational organization development.
• Demonstrated excellence in team development theory, practice and facilitation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of organizational development theory, leadership development best practices and organizational development consulting principles, practices, and methodology.
• Demonstrated expertise in client, team and systems needs assessment.
• Demonstrated expertise in design and development of organization development interventions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PHS and psychosocial factors impacting personal well-being and organizational health, as outlined in the Standard.
