Consultant – Security Integration and Architecture

What you will do
As a member of our Security Integration and Architecture team, you will interact with customers both locally and internationally to participate in assignments focused on the installation, optimization and deployment of security technologies at customer sites.

  • You will also carry out safety audits and assessments as part of your role.
  • You will provide advice on optimizing the configuration of security equipment.
  • You will be involved in the selection, installation, configuration, optimization and operation of technologies, including Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Secure SD-WAN, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), sandboxing, VPN, Wireless LAN (WLAN), Ethernet switching, e-mail security, network security management and analysis, web application security, public cloud security and private cloud & SDN.

Experience with these technologies is an asset.

What you bring to the role

  • Knowledge of network security tools and frameworks (such as Wireshark, Nmap, Snort, etc.)
  • Good writing skills
  • An interest in constantly learning new things
  • The ability to challenge yourself and adapt accordingly, if necessary
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours

Assets:

  • Knowledge of different network security technologies and best practices (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, etc.)
  • A good understanding of TCP/IP network concepts (routing, OSI layers, most popular protocols, etc.)
  • Having completed Certification in Network and Security (such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network, or JNCIA) and entry-level cybersecurity certifications (such as CompTIA Security, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate) is an asset
  • Skills in Python and/or PowerShell scripting
  • A strong commitment to obtaining relevant certifications to enhance your expertise, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security, CCSP, GSEC, and CISA
  • A solid understanding of ITIL processes, particularly in relation to change management best practices. This includes knowledge of change request procedures, impact analysis, risk assessment, and the ability to implement changes in a controlled and systematic manner to minimize disruptions and ensure seamless transitions.
