Position Summary

We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Laboratory department.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Diagnostic Services and working collaboratively with the NH Medical Lead for Laboratory Services provides technical consultation, subject expertise, and quality leadership to Regional Laboratories.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00

This position is flexible to the Northwest Northern Health region, explore these communities northern communities.

Qualfications
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology diploma program
• Current certification with the CSMLS (Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science).
• Minimum of four years recent related experience in a Clinical laboratory or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the health care team.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to analyze statistical data.
• Ability to organize work.
• Must have valid B.C. Drivers License.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
