Financial Analyst, FP&A

Horizon Recruitment?Inc. is seeking a?Financial Analyst, FP&A?for a large, publicly-traded company with a complex, multi-site operation. This newly created position will add to a strong, growing team as the company continues to prioritize the use of data to help make business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, along with analyses related to actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support the various departments by analysing data and providing decision support.
• Assist in the collection and compilation of quarterly projections, the annual budgeting process, and ad hoc financial modeling.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure data integrity and analyze financial outcomes.
• Aid in the preparation of presentations and reports.
• Maintain and update a database of essential financial metrics to facilitate ongoing analyses.
• Work alongside other corporate teams to support cross-functional initiatives and enhance FP&A processes.

Requirements:

• An accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) with 4-6 years of experience in accounting and/or FP&A.
• Proficient in ERP and/or BI systems, with a strong comfort level in technology.
• Skilled in MS Excel with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and distill key insights.
• Forward-thinking with a knack for providing innovative, future-ready solutions.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills and exceptional interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive in proposing innovative ideas and championing best practices.
• Highly organized, structured, and efficient.

Rewards:

• $90,000-$100,000
