About the Job:
Mindwire Systems is seeking a Product Owner to work in a fast-paced environment for one of our Crown Corporations. Client Location: It will be Hybrid/Remote
Responsibilities:
- • Manages the workload of the team through the product backlog, which includes reviewing and creating stories (items to deliver), changing priorities, and managing which items are prioritized on the backlog.
• Serve as the primary communication and negotiation contact for business stakeholders across the organization.
• Works with the Director or Manager and the Workplace Experience team to define non-discretionary work that must be regularly performed to ensure the health of the product is maintained.
• Creates and maintains a prioritized backlog of initiatives and executing these through the product team via Agile methodologies.
• Negotiates stories into Agile units (sprints or cycles) and ensures that the product backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all.
• Prioritizes the items in the product backlog to best achieve corporate and product goals.
• Ensures the product team understands items in the product backlog to the appropriate level.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- • Product Owner Certification.
• A minimum of (5 ) years’ experience in a Product Owner role.
• Solid understanding of Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
• Organized multi-tasker who can easily shift focus in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and requests while staying organized and composed.
• Proven relationship-builder comfortable interacting and negotiating at all levels.
