We are seeking dynamic professionals to join our growing ERM department in Downtown Montreal. The successful candidate will support the planning, execution, and reporting of engagements, working independently under senior guidance, but possibly collaborating with larger teams from time to time. You’ll have the chance to tackle challenging projects across various geographies and industries, building strong relationships and developing professional skills for future success.

What you will do
The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of various types of ERM engagements including, but not limited to:

  • Implementing / augmenting ERM systems and GRC tools based on business requirements
  • Facilitating enterprise risk assessments to assist organizations in the identification, prioritization and assessment of key organizational risks
  • Developing tools, techniques and templates for organizations to use to sustain their ERM programs
  • Conducting ‘risk deep dives’ for new and emerging areas of concern for the Board and Management
  • Assisting organizations in outsourced ERM function efforts (e.g. collection and reporting of key risk information to the Board and Management)
  • Automating risk reports / dashboards and workflows using Tableau and PowerBI
  • Managing outsourced Enterprise Risk Management programs – including but not limited to, facilitating the enterprise risk assessments, configuring specialized systems, collecting quarterly risk information, and consolidating risk reports for Senior Leadership and the Board
  • Developing risk appetite statements, tolerances and thresholds
  • Articulating and designing risk governance structures for the Risk Function, Management Committees and Board Committees

Their role will consist of assist in the execution of engagements through formal and informal client interactions, research and benchmarking, documentation of meeting minutes, management presentations, reports and development of proposals. They will also participate and support senior personnel in conducting walkthroughs, interviews and workshops.
What you bring to the role

  • You have a strong academic record and excel in an entrepreneurial environment. This role is open to CPA candidates and non-CPA candidates (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business, Math, Engineering)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Superior visualization and communication skills using PowerPoint and other MS Office tools
  • Flexible in working style and willing to learn new ways, methods and approaches
  • Innovative and creative thinker
  • High degree of personal confidence and drive
  • Ability to clearly convey concepts and services to clients
  • French speaking required
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities, in and out of the work environment
