The Application Solution Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software applications that meet the needs of the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure that applications are aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.

What you will do

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.
  • Oversee the application development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of applications through effective architecture and design.
  • Manage a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Coordinate with IT and business teams to integrate applications with existing systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for application development processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Select and implement front office solutions that enhance customer engagement, streamline sales processes, and improve overall customer experience.
  • Evaluate and implement back office solutions that optimize internal operations, including finance, HR, and procurement.
  • Develop a proposed application/platform strategy outlining the short-term and long-term technology stack, development frameworks, and standards that integrate with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Produce detailed architecture and design documents for planned solutions.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in application development and leadership roles.
  • Strong technical skills in software development.
  • Experience with application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience in working with cloud platforms, Azure is preferred.
