The role:
JYSK is seeking an experienced E-Commerce & Marketing Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position is a strategic role that supports on delivering JYSK’s strategy of “Seamless and Closer to the Customer”.
The E-Commerce & Marketing Manager possesses the right balance of developing strategy and operational excellence in online marketing, user interface, enhancing brand awareness, and driving engagement across diverse channels. This role partners extensively with Buying and Retail to maximize revenues by anticipating customer needs, exceeding their expectations, increasing traffic and improving conversion.

This role is based out of our home office in Coquitlam, BC.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the E-Commerce and Marketing team to maintain site content, search functionality, implementation of new products and launching campaigns.
  • Partner with internal departments to enhance the online customer experience and maximize performance.
  • Develop innovative solutions for Omni Channel, Online Commerce Digital and Social Marketing Solutions.
  • Manage all marketing for the business, including but not limited to flyers, TV, radio, digital online & social marketing.
  • Develop, plan, and execute SEO and SEM along with digital and social marketing strategies which leverage online platforms to build awareness and drive visitation in stores and online.
  • Creating new marketing initiatives through creative marketing processes.
  • Plan and execute off-site events and in-store campaigns aligned with the company’s strategic goals
  • Build business cases and develop plans to resolve unfavorable trends in sales, expenses and profitability
  • Monitor industry trends and share knowledge with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with relevant regulations and company policies
  • Manage budgets and resources to deliver efficient and effective marketing and eCommerce initiatives
  • Ensure a great digital experience for our customers

What do you bring to the role?

  • Five or more years’ experience in a relevant role; specifically, in online merchandising, marketing, Google analytics SEO and SEM
  • A proven track record in running a successful ecommerce business that experienced significant growth
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners
  • Experience in leading and managing successful teams
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in online retailing; understands competitors’ business models and promotional tactics, studies and analyzes key performance indicators of customers’ behavior
  • Advanced analytics capabilities to support recommendations with data-driven findings, including advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and track and report on their effectiveness

Compensation: Generally, the hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
