Junior Accountant

Horizon Recruitment Inc.?has an immediate need for a?Junior?Accountant?to help support our large, publicly traded client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a large organization with lots of opportunity for growth as you complete your CPA.

Responsibilities:

• Full cycle accounts payable, processing payments under strict deadlines
• Prepare and enter journal entries, and perform bank and inter company reconciliations
• Assist?with year-end working papers
• Month-end reporting as required

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of junior accounting experience
• CPA student or interest in enrolling in the program
• Thorough knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices and reporting requirements
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proactive approach to managing projects & issues
• Someone who takes pride in their work with strong attention to detail

Rewards:

• $55,000 – $60,000
