BC’s Office of the Human Rights Commissioner (BCOHRC) exists to address the root causes of inequality, discrimination, and injustice in B.C. by shifting laws, policies, practices and cultures. We do this work through education, research, advocacy, inquiry, and monitoring.
The Manager of Information Technology (IT) provides strategic vision and leadership for BCOHRC’s full range of IT plans, systems and budgets. This includes developing and implementing IT policies and procedures, evaluation of IT projects and programs, providing supervision to IT staff, and overseeing the procurement, maintenance and deployment of all IT systems and devices for all BCOHRC staff in compliance with BC Public Service information management governance, policies and standards.
The IT Manager is responsible for providing excellent internal client services and for leading IT management with a mindset of continuous improvement that drives operational benefits to BCOHRC.
