Job Skills / Requirements

Position: Full-Time Temporary Security Guard
Site: York Mills Centre – 20 York Mills Road, North York, ON M2P2C2
Hours: Tuesday to Friday (1600 – 0000 hrs.) and Saturday (1200- 0000 hrs.) = 44 hours weekly
Payrate: $18.25/hr.
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Description:

•Working on assigned shifts, you will work full time shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance. In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Qualifications:

•Minimum of one year of experience in a concierge security role is required
•A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
•Proficient in English (both oral and written)
•Vulnerable Sector Check
•COVID Double Vaccination
•Customer Service Experience
