Expected Salary Range: $62,081.00 – $77,600.00 – $96,999.00

Our typical hiring range will be /- 5% of the midpoint shown above

The Team

The Cyber Security Team is a high-performing group of experts dedicated to safeguarding BCLC’s information assets. We support business operations and projects by identifying security risks, recommending appropriate controls, and implementing effective technical mitigation strategies. Through continuous research, coordination, and execution of security assessments, as well as incident investigations, the team is committed to strengthening and advancing BCLC’s information security posture.

The Role

This internship offers hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, equipping you with essential skills and knowledge to excel in the field.

What you will accomplish

  • Assist senior team members in conducting low to moderately complex information security compliance and risk assessments for processes, infrastructure, and solutions, Contribute to recommending appropriate controls and assisting with technical mitigation strategies.
  • Research emerging information security trends, industry best practices, and standards.
  • Maintain and update operational documentation, including security policies, standards, and procedures, and knowledge bases.
  • Develop domain knowledge to understand key business systems and processes
  • Support day-to-day monitoring of the integrity of systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist with investigating and responding to security incidents.
  • Help coordinate security testing activities such as penetration testing and application security testing.
  • Provide information on system configurations, accounts, and information security practices to auditors and regulators.
  • Execute phishing campaigns and deliver education and awareness sessions to staff.

Qualifications

A combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Recent graduate of a Cyber Security Program (within the last 12 months)
