Position Summary

Under the Supervision of the NW Area Manager, Mental Health Services, the Team Leader is responsible for the development, maintenance, and access for mental health and addictions housing and recovery services for the Northwest. This role works in close partnership locally with the other Team Leaders Mental Health and Addiction Services. Regionally, the role works closely in partnership with other related housing and recovery services developments. The role is responsible for the effective management of the NW Mental Health and Long Term Care and Recovery Services including the operations of the NW services for Seven Sisters residence; Birchwood Place; and the management of the housing component of the Supported Independent Living Program.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 08:00 to 16:00

The main industries in Terrace are communications, transportation, and natural resources. The population is approximately 12,700. Qualfications
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
• Minimum of three (3) to four (4) years working experience with a broad range of mental health clients; including recent related supervisory experience.
