Job Summary

The Team
The Project Delivery and Regional Operations (PDRO) team for the Southern Interior Region (SIR) is a dynamic and diverse group charged with the common goal of moving and connecting British Columbians. With approximately 25 team members, including project managers, coordinators, and technicians, we work together to deliver major infrastructure projects that enhance safety and connectivity across the region. The Role
As a Project Delivery Analyst with the Southern Interior Region’s Project Delivery and Regional Operations (PDRO) team, you’ll play a key role in supporting project teams by managing financial components, ensuring accurate reporting, and acting as the go-to expert on project management systems. You’ll lead monthly expansion and rehabilitation program reporting, manage large service contracts, and provide valuable insights through detailed analysis and reports. This role offers diverse responsibilities, exposure to different business units, and opportunities for growth, all while contributing to projects that improve the lives of British Columbians. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Diploma in a post-secondary program such as Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field plus a minimum of two (2) years of related experience; OR,
  • Certificate in a post-secondary program such as Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field plus a minimum of three (3) years of related experience; OR,
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience must include all of the following:

  • Experience working in finance and administration.
  • Experience in supporting budget development and evaluation.
  • Experience analyzing financial data for variances and trends.
  • Experience compiling summary reports and conducting basic data analysis.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Experience in writing a variety of documents, i.e. briefing materials/reports/communications.
  • Experience in the preparation of reports for executive staff.
  • Experience working in the transportation field.

About this Position:
This position is located in Kamloops.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to a few days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
