As a Recreation Therapist with Vancouver Coastal Health you will:

• Work in a team based environment and provide therapeutic recreation/leisure interventions to designated clients/residents.
• Participate as a member of an integrated collaborative health care team, assessing clients’/residents’ recreation and leisure needs, abilities and interests.
• Maintain a variety of records.
• Plan and implement therapeutic recreation care plans, evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention, and communicate with the client/resident/family and health care team members.
• Contribute to the organization and delivery of Recreation Therapy services, and participate in designated quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education, as required.
