Bookkeeper

Who- the Companies: 
Our client is a long-standing religious institution located in Vancouver. They are a welcoming and inclusive Christian community.  

What- the Role: 
On behalf of our client, SWIM is seeking a new Bookkeeper. This is a part-time 3 month contract role with a chance of being converted into a permanent position. This individual is the sole accounting person liaising with the office manager and reporting to the Rector and 3 Trustees. 
SWIM will share a detailed job description with interested candidates.

Who- the Candidate: 
We are seeking candidates with 3-5years of progressive experience in Bookkeeping. Ideally, the candidate would have experience in an NPO setting. We are looking for someone reliable, responsible and with strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills. 

Where: 
Our client is located in Vancouver. This role is a part-time position, averaging 24 hours per week. The candidate can work 3-5 days per week with a flexible schedule as long as it is in the office window hours of 9 am until 5 pm. This is a fully on site role and candidates must be comfortable commuting to the client site.

How Much:
This position is paid hourly, between $25-$28/hr. depending on the candidate’s experience, plus 4% vacation pay.
