By leveraging expertise in technical domains, the team develops programs and applications that align with PwC’s strategic technology needs, ensuring the firm stays at the forefront of the industry.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Implementing the delivery of Cloud Infrastructure services to PwC Canada using DevOps approach
•Managing IT initiatives from requirements gathering through to solution design and development, testing and deployment
•Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Provisioning (50% of your time) includes CI/CD Pipelines, Pull Requests, Repository Management, Terraform Management, Terraform Modules, Documentation, Security Standards, and Secret Management
•Operations Improvements (30% of your time) includes Automation, API Integration, Error Handling and Troubleshooting, and Operational Insights
•Communication & ITIL (20% of your time) includes Change Requests, Incident Management, and Daily Communication

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
•A university degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a business / IT related discipline
•Cloud certifications demonstrating expertise in Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, HashiCorp, etc.)
•Extensive experience working with as DevOps Engineer
•Demonstrated experience with Azure particularly Infra Provisioning
•Demonstrated knowledge with Cloud services and offerings across CSPs (Microsoft, Google, AWS)
•Experience and knowledge of Cloud resources across IaaS and PaaS
•Design pipelines and configurations to support automated provisioning of Azure based infrastructure and services using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
•Expert level understanding of Terraform and GitHub, GitHub Actions
•Understanding of Cloud licensing and cost models
•Good understanding of REST APIs, ODATA and sync vs async communication
•Strong understanding of cloud native operations, technologies, principles
