Job Summary
The Team
The Management Services Division is dedicated to providing high-quality, trusted corporate services and expert leadership to the Ministries of Jobs, Economic Development, and Innovation (JEDI) and the Ministry of Labour (LBR). The Role
As the Executive Administrative Assistant (EAA), you will be the organizational backbone of the Assistant Deputy Minister/Executive Financial Officer (ADM/EFO) office. Working under limited supervision, you’ll manage the daily operations of the ADM’s office, ensuring seamless administrative support. This role goes beyond standard administrative duties; you’ll be the face of the ADM’s office, handling highly sensitive and confidential inquiries with professionalism and discretion, often acting as a liaison to ensure timely responses on the ADM’s behalf.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Certificate or post-secondary coursework in office administration or business administration and one (1) year related experience; OR
- Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and two (2) years related experience; OR
- Evergreen and three (3) years related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related experience includes the following:
- Office experience working in a confidential capacity.
- Experience providing administrative support services including calendar management; completing complex travel arrangements; coordinating, tracking, monitoring and responding to issues, initiatives and projects.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
- Experience working with senior executives (i.e. Vice President, Executive Director, Senior Counsel, Partner or equivalent).
- Experience with electronic file tracking system (e.g. CLIFF and eApproval systems or equivalent).
- Experience with records management system (ie: ARCS/ORCS) and Local Area Network (LAN) management or equivalent.
- Higher years of experience in any of the requirements.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home some days each week, subject to an approved telework agreement.
