    In this role, you will support or lead initiatives (from ideation to execution) that address business operational issues by researching and evaluating new measures or strategies to reduce waste and improve operational effectiveness through coaching or other means.

    You will specifically influence change across the product organization by:

    • Planning, working with stakeholders and colleagues, executing, and communicating internal/external stakeholders of the global initiatives to improve employee satisfaction/retention and enabling operational excellence.
    • As a project manager/support, you create a variety of reports and perform analysis to track activity recording, portfolio, and investment tracking.
    • Capturing meeting minutes, action items and decisions and informing the relevant stakeholders.
    • Schedule the project meetings and ensure the appropriate stakeholders are present.
    • Supporting the operations teams as a project support/manager to ensure commitments are executed on time and milestones are accomplished.

    What you bring

    We are looking for university students who have experience gained in a software/IT environment. Good knowledge of agile frameworks is a plus. MBA student/graduate is a plus.

    You should also have/be:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • The ability to think creatively and disrupt the status quo
    • Collaborative and respectful
    • A global mindset, inclusive to world cultures
    • Great people and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
    • You should have the necessary professional experience with managing topics ideally on a global level. Prior is software industry or business operations is a plus.
    • Previous job titles you may have held include Project Manager, Program Manager, Scrum Master, Organizational Specialist, Organizational Improvement, Operations Specialist, Change Agent.

    As a Business Operations Intern in the global Commerce organization, you will join the Commerce Operations team, which provides services to our internal and external stakeholders. These teams are based in Poland, Germany, Canada, England, and the US offering a diverse, global working environment.

    The mission of the Commerce Operations Office is to enable operational excellence and improve people’s development, satisfaction and retention.

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 18 – 36(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
