The Data Architect and Solution Lead is responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that consolidate disparate data sources from multiple member firms. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure that data solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in data architecture and leadership roles, demonstrating strong technical and project management skills.

What you will do

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of data architecture solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Oversee the data architecture lifecycle, including planning, modeling, integration, and deployment.
  • Evaluate and integrate disparate data sources from multiple companies into a unified data architecture.
  • Develop a comprehensive data consolidation strategy that addresses data quality, consistency, and governance.
  • Develop a proposed data architecture strategy outlining the short-term and long-term technology stack, development frameworks, and standards that integrate with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Ensure that data solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and support scalability and security.
  • Design and implement integration solutions that connect various data sources and systems within the organization.
  • Monitor and optimize integration processes to ensure efficient data flow and minimal latency.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture and leadership roles.
  • Strong technical skills in data architecture, including proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data integration.
  • Experience with data architecture design patterns and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with big data technologies and frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies is preferred.
