Business Analyst

6 month contract Business Systems Analyst role with a growing team within an enterprise organization

• 6-month contract Business Analyst role with a focus on in-store technology projects
• Global enterprise organization
• Hybrid work in Vancouver, on site 3 days a week.

What & Why:
Due to internal growth and investment in technology our client is looking to add a Business Systems Analyst to their retail engineering team to work on an internal facing application. Ideally you have a background working with engineering teams, experience working in scrum and experience delivering projects for enterprise organizations. This team utilizes Jira to a very high degree so you should be very comfortable writing stories and epics. You should have experience working with systems integrations as well as demonstrated experience translating strategy into feature development roadmaps.  This is a really exciting app to be working on, and the users are very excited for its release!

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work model, 3 days a week on site.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• 5 years of business analyst experience ideally within Retail Technology industry
• Experience working with product driven teams
• Highly skilled with Jira, epics and story creation.
• Experience providing requirements for small to large initiatives
• Experience working with systems integrations
• Demonstrated experience translating strategy into feature development roadmaps
• Demonstrated experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints while keep the business need at top of mind

Compensation: this role pays between $60-75 per hour.
