Are you passionate about content and all things digital? BMO’s commercial payment platform, Online Banking for Business, is looking for a Content Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering on our digital content strategy and supporting a robust self-help experience. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: creating and managing email templates, building & maintaining chatbot conversation flows and logic, and collaborating closely with cross-functional groups such as Marketing, Design, UX, and Product.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to build responsive and visually engaging email templates with dynamic fields.
  • Conduct email testing to ensure accessibility, compatibility with popular email clients, and regulatory compliance including CAN-SPAM and CASL.
  • Build and maintain chatbot conversational flows to ensure it generates relevant responses.
  • Test and review chatbot functionality, content, and integration with the platform.
  • Collaborate with content designers, marketers, and vendors to ensure timely and effective builds, while maintaining cohesive messaging and brand consistency across channels.
  • Maintain email templates and chatbot archive: review and update when required.
  • Monitor performance metrics and analyze user interactions to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • 3 years working in email development, chatbot development or other digital content environment.
  • Proven experience in email template development with a good eye for layouts and formatting. Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other email marketing platform and automation tools.
  • Proven experience in building chatbot interactions and conversation flows. Familiarity with chatbot frameworks, machine learning, and natural language processing concepts and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Communications, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Creative self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational, communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset, but not a requirement.

You’re fluent in French and English to support business operations outside the province of Quebec .

Salary:

$68 000,00 – $126 000,00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
