Job Summary

The Team
Join our established Financial Reporting and Administration team, where you’ll collaborate closely with both the finance and administrative sides. On the admin team, you’ll work alongside a group of 6 individuals, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing essential correspondence for the Branch, including issuing insurance certificates, indemnities, and audit letters. You’ll also coordinate and manage all travel arrangements, including payments and monthly reports, while maintaining organized records and managing offsite storage. Your work directly supports school districts, universities, colleges, and institutes, ensuring they receive timely and accurate administrative services.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent. Preference may be given to applicants with a certificate or higher in office administration.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an administrative capacity in a busy office environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Experience and/or training in ARCS/ORCS.
  • Experience and/or training in EDRMS, CAS and CLIFF.

About this Position:
1 Position available.
This is a temporary appointment until 12/31/2024 which may be extended and/or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 3 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established for future temporary and/or permanent vacancies.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
