Job Summary

The Team
The Indigenous Core Policing and Contract Management (ICPCM) Division’s overall responsibilities are superintendence and oversight of the Police Service Agreements (Provincial Police Service Agreement, Municipal Police Service Agreement and Municipal Police Unit Agreement) pertaining to Core Policing administration/programs/initiatives, the Indigenous Policing Program Agreements (Framework Agreement, Community Tripartite Agreement, Self-Administered Policing Agreement, and Enhanced Policing Agreement), including program administration, and Police Model Transitions. The Division is headed by the Executive Director ICPCM and reports to the Deputy Director of Police Services. The Division consists of about 25 staff.

The Role
As the Office Manager, you’ll help keep the office running smoothly by providing support with administrative tasks, handling important information, and assisting with HR and finances for the Deputy Director and program staff in the Lower Mainland office. You’ll create an organized and efficient work environment, making it easier for the team to do their best work. You’ll also manage confidential matters with care, juggle multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with both internal and external clients. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.
  • Experience leading others.

Preference may be given to 3 years or more in any of the above experience requirements.

About this Position:
There is currently one temporary opportunity available until September 31, 2025.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
This position is located out of Surrey.
Flexible work options are available;this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved Telework Agreement.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
