Junior Store Designer

As a junior store designer, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and execution of various projects while partnering with other teams and vendors.

In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you will do:

• Assist the senior designer by contributing ideas to design concepts for any current projects such as prototypes and renovation programs or signage and store & product displays
• Collaborate with design team to gather feedback to continuously improve designs and output
• Assist space/store planning with administration or CAD task as needed
• Partners with the senior designer in the development of graphic placeholders for stores
• Support the vendor display guidelines set out by the design team
• Liaise with the design team to troubleshoot issues that may arise
• Create photorealistic 3D models and rendering of the fixtures, vignettes and the interior and exterior of various retail environments to accurately represent design concepts and facilities review with the design team
• Build 3D walk-through and animation of the stores if required
• Work on animation and editing on a need basis

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge of MS Office
• Experienced skills in design, sketching and 3D rendering (3ds max, Vray and Sketchup)
• Knowledge of presentation applications like Photoshop
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/Autodesk applications
• Familiarity with office administration and some knowledge of millwork construction and fixture design would be helpful
• Experience in photo editing

Annualized base pay range

$40,000.00 – $44,000.00

Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
