Reporting to the Executive Director Medical Affairs, the Director, Medical Staff Supports, Retention & Recruitment (the Director) leads the planning, design, development, and implementation of medical affairs administrative and operational infrastructure to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services for Medical Staff across Norther Health (NH). The Director provides leadership, expert guidance, and expertise for initiatives related to the ongoing delivery, restructuring, and reconfiguration of Medical Staff services. Working within the framework and directions of the Medical Affairs annual plan and goals in in keeping with NH’s Strategic Plan, and in support of the organization’s Vision, Mission Statement and Values, the Director establishes, prioritizes, and implements plans, systems, processes, and objectives in collaboration with the Executive Director of Medical Affairs. The Director supports, advises, and collaborates with the Medical Affairs Leadership team, bringing an administrative and operational perspective to all initiatives planned through Medical Affairs. The Director participates on a variety of internal and external committee and working groups, as needed and keeps the Executive Director and the Medical Affairs Leadership team apprised of relevant issues, opportunities, and trends as appropriate. The Director leads the review processes arising from Medical Staff related matters on behalf of the ED of Medical Affairs and Medical Directors and assists in the management of Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) issues as directed.

Starting salary will be approximately from $116,591 to $145,739 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• Master’s Degree in a related discipline such as Health Care or Business Administration.
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience in a senior position in a large and complex health care setting.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Proficiency in the use of office software applications as effective tools in the role of a senior manager.
